Sheer Rhetoric is Gennie Sheer, an industry professional who has established a reputation for excellence over more than two decades of work in media, marketing, sponsorship, public relations and communications. During her career she has worked in radio, television, print and online media and held a senior agency role servicing top-level corporate clients before establishing her own consultancy.
The consultancy draws on an enviable list of contacts, has extensive experience in high pressure and high profile situations and an ability to develop plans and execute campaigns that achieve results.
Gennie has provided strategic marketing and communications services and advice to both large and small organisations from the board room to grass roots level. A marketing and communications generalist she has experience across a broad range of areas.
She has been involved with national and international events including as a commentator, reporter, producer, communications and marketing director.
Her resume includes the Invictus Games Sydney 2018, six Olympic Games, three Paralympic Games, three Commonwealth Games and more than 50 World Championships and world class events.
She also has experience client side contracting and managing agencies and partners.
